D2569 is a specially treated starch-based compound that has been chemically modified to enhance its resistance to temperature, salt, and calcium. In drilling fluids, it effectively controls filtration loss, reduces formation damage, and improves fluid stability and recyclability. It can also be formulated with acid-soluble bridging agents in saturated brine to create clay-free, acid-soluble completion fluids. Furthermore, D2569 exhibits excellent environmental performance and does not cause pollution.
