F5607 is a mixed ether asphalt dispersant that can interact with asphaltene in high-viscosity oil and inhibit asphaltene molecules from forming association compounds that precipitate on the pipe wall. F5607 can form hydrogen bonds with the polar groups of asphaltene on one side, and has a dissociative effect on the association compounds formed between asphaltene molecules on the other side. Long-term use can extend the pipe wall cleaning cycle.
